Wedding Bells

Paul's sister Loralee Thompson, from Lodi,  and his cousin Elaine Honey, from Santa Barbara, came from California to Utah for a few days.  Elaine had met a special man, Michael Folsom and a wedding was planned for April 23rd.
We were able to go with them to the Salt Lake Temple for a special session and sealing.  Michael's son was able to be his escort.
It was great to see family members we hadn't see for a while and meet new friends too.
Barbara Gutke and Nelda Anderson
Paul's cousin, Margaret Arnold's family (Elaine's sister).  Margaret and her husband are serving a mission in Hong Kong so weren't able to be there.
Kathryn and Gordon Geddes, Barbara Gutke's (who is Elaine's sister) daughter.
Me with Marilyn and Brian Lundberg, Barbara Gutke's daughter.

After the wedding, we all went to the Little America Hotel for a wonderful dinner and visiting.
As the evening came the an end and having a wonderful day, we went back on Trax and returned home

Another Chapter in Colorado

We were back in Colorado in April after being there just a few weeks before for the birth of Brigham Glen.  It was now time for that special time of baby blessing!  Brigham Glen was blessed by his father and given a beautiful blessing.

Before leaving for church, Debbie got her little ones together for pictures.
We had to keep reminding kids to "smile."

Besides the cute kids, we enjoyed the beautiful blossoms in Debbie's yard and around the area.

Charly put on a dancing show for us.
The boys had fun playing their games, and Brigham slept through it all.

Monday night Mike was able to get tickets from his friend Rich for the Jazz/Nuggets playoff game.  It was awesome!  We were on the second row right behind the Jazz players.  We got texts from kids that were able to see us there.  Mike's sister and husband in South Jordan were watching the game and took a pictures of their TV with a close-up of us and emailed it to Mike on his phone and we were able to see it right there while we were at the game.  It was a good game, especially since the Jazz won!!

Springtime in Texas

I recently got a chance to visit Texas again.  We used to live there for several years while Paul was in the Air Force.  We really enjoyed our time in Texas.  Two of our children were born there.  Glen was born in San Antonio and our son John has been living there for a couple of years.  John also works really close to where Paul used to work at Randolph AFB.  John has received orders (he is a civil servant that works for the Air Force) to go to Wright-Patterson AFB near Dayton Ohio, so I went to Texas to stay with their kids while he and Kristen went house hunting.  It was fun to see the Texas bluebonnets that were blooming.  Spring is always a neat time almost everywhere you go.
While with the Huber kids in San Antonio we put together several puzzles, several times!!  Took walks, went to the park etc. etc.
Family Home Evening at the Hubers

At the Park with Griffin and Eden. We had taken Halle to her piano lesson and we were at the park until she finished.

John and Kristen found a lovely home that they will be able to move into when they move in June.

They say there is a little stream that runs through the back of the yard, plus big trees and nice landscaping.  We will be looking forward to visiting them in Ohio.  There will be new places to see!
