Happy New Year 2010 and a look back at 2009

Wow, a new year is here.  Hope you all had a good holiday.  It is always fun to be with family and friends.  I can't believe how quickly 2009 went by. 

2009 was a good year.  We added 3 new grandchildren to our family.  Oliver James Huber born to Glen and Emily last May. 

Emmett Kenneth Godfrey born to Carrie and Matt last June. 

And, Beckham John Huber born to John and Kristen in October.

In 2009 we had a wonderful trip of a life-time.  We cruised the Mediterranean for two weeks and visited some awesome places.  We went with Paul's sister Loralee.

 We visited Italy where we saw beautiful Lake Como and went to Bellagio, we were in Milano and saw The Galleria Vittorio Emanuele and the third largest church in the world Cathedral to Santa Maria.

 

 

 

We went on to Rome where we saw the Colosseum, visited the Vatican, and St Peter's Basilica.

 

We had a fun time on the ship between ports with the group we were with (200 people with LDS Travel).  We made new friends, enjoyed the shows on the ship, and the great dining.

 We continued on and visited Israel where we went to Haifa, Ashdod and Jerusalem.  We crossed the sea of Galilee on a boat, ate at a Kubbutz, we went to the Garden of Gethsemane and the Garden Tomb, the wailing

wall etc.
