Branson Part 3

Thursday began with another breakfast at our Hotel.  Then we were off to the Clay Cooper Show.  Clay Cooper, last January, purchased the theater from the Osmonds, so now he has his own theater all redone for his show.  It was neat to see his wife and little 14month old son.  His other son that usually performs, said he couldn't miss school that day, so we didn't see him.

Here is a youtube video where Clay Cooper shows you his new theater.

Two of the girls from our group with Clay Cooper.
After the Clay Cooper show, we went to the IMAX shopping complex where we had lunch at the McFarlains restaurant and could browse the shops.  They had fudge being made in one place and we could get samples.

We had some rest time at the hotel after lunch.  Across the street was the Grand Village.  I walked over there and saw some of the shops.  Thomas Kincade had a shop there and there were lots of Christmas shops too.
In the evening we headed to Golden Corral Restaurant where we were in a stage area and got to see the Allen Edwards dinner show.  He was good and we enjoyed his singing.

After dinner we went to the Broadway Spirit of Christmas Show, in the Branson Variety Theater.  We were a little disappointed in the show, but is was very Christmasy and had some beautiful costumes.  As we went in the theater, they took a picture of our whole group.  We bought one and after wards had some of the cast sign it.

The day ended as we returned to our hotel room.  We had problems several times with our magnetic keys not working and many had to return to the main desk to have them reprogrammed.  Other than that, we loved the hotel.  They had sleep-number beds.  We were in room 306 and all of our group was on the third floor.
