Concerts and Musicals

We love to see family performing and sharing their talents.   Sarah has been singing in a choir for the past few months.  On Friday, April 30, they put on a concert at Libby Gardner Concert Hall up at the U of U.

Sarah is on the second row next to the men.  The concert was great and we enjoyed it a lot!

On May 7th, our oldest granddaughter had the lead in her school musical.
Emily has a beautiful voice and did an awesome job.  Melinda flew in from California, Holly came with three of our granddaughters from Missoula, and Glen and Emily came down from Cache Valley to attend the musical.  It was so fun to have them all here.
 Evan, Maddie, Harmony, and Avery.
Layne, Elijah, and William
Eric, the Tanners, Tina, Melinda and Holly behind.
Melinda, Emily, and Holly
Sarah joined the girls.
Emily as Polly Baker
The main male leads did an awesome job -- amazing for 15 yrs olds.
There was lots of tap dancing in the program and kissing!  This is a quote from Eric's letter "Emily had a number of scenes involving kissing and it was funny when we took Weston back the following day to see the Saturday Matinee performance, the first thing he said to us after the play was over was that 'Emily's longest kiss was for 14 seconds' - just like a brother to time it and make a big deal out of it."
All of the little cousins loved seeing Emily and they loved getting autographs of the cast and loved it when Emily gave them a rose from the flowers she received.

good pictures. Wish I could have seen Sarah and Emily perform. So fun. It was fun to see Avery too - I haven't see her do it before. What cute, talented, beautiful children and grandchildren you hace ! (especially that #5 child of yours!! :)
