Del Rio Reunion

Back in 1968, while Paul was in the Air Force, we got an assignment to go to Laughlin AFB near Del Rio, Texas.  We had no idea what to expect and we weren't real excited about going there.  But, it ended up being one of our favorite assignments in the Air Force.  We belonged to a small branch in the church.  Since we were so far away from family and others were too, our friends became like family.  We have had several reunions with dear friends that we made during that time in the past and, we recently had another reunion.  There were 10 couples that got together - one from Washington state, one from St. George, Utah, one from Bloomington Idaho, one from Cache Valley, and the rest of us from the Salt Lake/Provo area.  It was wonderful to see friends, visit and share in great memories.  Paul had recently made a photo book through Shutterfly on the years we were in Del Rio.  Everyone had fun looking through it and seeing "old" pictures.
We had dinner together at Gardner Village at Archibald's restaurant.

After dinner we came back to our club house and had dessert and that is where we really visited.

We didn't good pictures of everyone, but we sure had a good time!  Thanks all for coming!!
