Colorado Adventure

We've just returned from an adventure in beautiful Colorado.  It all started when we left South Jordan on June 4th to drive to Denver.  On Saturday, June 5th was a special family occasion.  Drake Michael Jones, Debbie's oldest child was baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

On Monday, the 7th of June, actually our anniversary, Paul and I flew from Denver to Phoenix.  We got to see my mother, all of my sisters, and on Tuesday had a great reunion with most of the LeSueur 1st cousins.
It was great to see cousins I hadn't seen for many, many years.  It was so nice to see Aunt Nena too.  Aunt Nena and my mother are the only two that are still alive from that generation.

Wednesday morning, before people left for home, we met again and had breakfast at the Black Bear Diner.
Jeanne Kay (on the right) lives in Seattle and was the one that started everything to get cousins together.  She also hosted the dinner at the Country Club on Tuesday night.  It was fun to get reacquainted with her and the other cousins.
On Wednesday, we flew back to Denver and then headed to Rocky Mountain National Park.  We stayed in the park at Cascade Cottages in a rustic cabin near the Cascade Creek.

We saw lots of beautiful sights as we drove throughout the park.
